This Dragon Boat Festival I went to Beijing. It was very fun. First I went to the Forbidden City and I saw golden chairs and silver plates. They were very beautiful and expensive. But my mom bought me a pink dress and gloden clip for my hair.
The next day I did some homework and watched a movie. The movie’s name was The Hunter Game. The next day my grandparents and aunties came to Beijing and we ate dinner together and then we went back to Guangzhou.

Some holidays are so much fun that they catch on outside of their culture. The most obvious example is probably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who aren’t even Christian.
